The Career and Technical Education (CTE) Leadership Academy is a nine-month professional development program for individuals responsible for overseeing career and technical education programs at the campus and/or district level. It is sponsored by the Texas Education Agency and implemented by Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.

Applicants should be prepared to participate in all three phases:

Phase I: Fall Symposium held in early October;

Phase II: Independent action-learning project and online learning modules; and,

Phase III: Summer Symposium held in mid-June.

Featured Speakers and Topics:

Symposium speakers include Texas Education Agency staff, Regional Education Service Center (ESC) CTE Specialists, and experienced CTE administrators. Topics include:
